Omar Habib is one of the longest serving leaders in Awal Gulf Manufacturing. He currently holds the title of General Manager for Export Sales. He joined the company 30 years back in the Production Department, with added responsibilities of overseeing the design, development, and construction of the first manufacturing plant in Sitra. He was one of the active members involved in the start-up of our production capabilities in Bahrain.

He later moved on to head the Quality Assurance Department, during which he managed along with his team to certify the Company with both the ISO 9000 & ISO 14000 Certification, establishing Quality Systems and formed a full-fledged QA/QC department.

During his tenure, the company scaled more heights and obtained the SASO Quality G-Mark for all the factory products, which made Awal Gulf Manufacturing the 3rd company outside Saudi Arabia and the 1st Air Conditioning Company to acquire this prestigious mark.

In 2006 Omar took charge for the Export Department and has been heading it since then. Under his leadership, the company grew in revenues, added more distributors and is currently exporting to over 40 plus countries across EMEA.

Omar holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the American University in Cairo. He was also awarded a Level 3 certification in Leadership and Management by the City and Guilds of London Institute.
